Other online fraud
Lost money online and not sure what kind of scam it was?
You don't need to know the name for it. Tell us what happened and we'll help you understand your options.
The basics
What is online fraud?
Online fraud takes many forms: job offers that ask you to pay first, account takeovers, fake tech support, rental and ticket scams, and new tricks that appear all the time.
What they have in common is that someone deceived you into giving them money or access. The details you have, such as payments, messages, and accounts, are what matter most.
It's not your fault. These scams are run by professionals.
Telling someone is the first step. Our support team will listen and explain what can realistically be done.
